Wanda Lephoto × HBN Sport* ‘Me Fie’ Marathon Shorts

Born from a shared appreciation for storytelling through clothing, this collaboration brings together Wanda Lephoto’s deeply considered design language with HBN Sport*’s interpretation of vintage athletic wear.

The performance jacket and shorts are constructed using Wanda Lephoto’s signature ‘Me Fie’ print. In Akan, a language spoken primarily in Ghana, Me Fie translates to “My Place of Origin” or “My Home.” The print reflects ideas of home, identity, migration and belonging, celebrating the places and histories that shape who we become. 

Reimagined through the lens of sport, the collection transforms these cultural narratives into functional performance pieces. Technical fabrication, a relaxed athletic silhouette and utility-inspired details meet expressive textile design, creating garments equally suited to movement and everyday wear.

Rather than treating performance and heritage as separate ideas, this collaboration allows them to exist together. The result is a set that carries the spirit of athletic apparel while honoring the stories, memories and communities embedded within the Me Fie print.
